There are many cleaning companies, but in the main, these cleaning companies are general practitioners. Their customers are more likely to be office buildings or manufacturing plants than they are to be hospitals. Yet, hospital cleaning is radically different from cleaning "in general."

Hospital Klean of Texas, Inc. staff has specialized in servicing hospitals and medical-related facilities, many of them on military installations across the U.S., for well over a decade. Indeed, it was in order to meet the stringent codes set by military hospitals that Hospital Klean of Texas, Inc. management and staff began to develop the detailed procedures manual that has consistently set the standard for the hospital cleaning industry.

Hospital Klean of Texas, Inc. understands that the final product is only as good as the preparation the hospital housekeeping staff receives. That is why we invest so heavily on professional training programs for Hospital Klean of Texas, Inc. personnel at every level.

On each of its projects, Hospital Klean of Texas, Inc. employs Executive Housekeepers certified by the International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA). To qualify for certification, candidates must have successfully completed 380 hours of college-level coursework in a NEHA-accredited program, and must have 2 years experience in hospital cleaning. To maintain certification, the Certified Executive Housekeeper must complete a minimum of one additional accredited course per year.

In late 1989, Hospital Klean of Texas, Inc. became one of only a handful of companies nationwide to be certified by HAMS, the Hospital Aseptic Management System. This certification, a rare achievement, is awarded only after the company's procedures, experience and training program are judged exceptional by HAMS.
Aseptic cleaning in a hospital environmental requires not only well-trained personnel, but also state-of-the-art equipment and specially selected supplies as well. At Hospital Klean of Texas, Inc., all equipment is designed to meet or exceed hospital environmental standards. Sole-use equipment is designated to critical hospital areas.
